Yeah, Del Rio's ring work won't blow people away, but his finisher is sweet, his character is great, and he has a ton more charisma than other young blood who they've tried injecting into the upper echelon this year (Sheamus, Drew, Swagger, Kofi).

It's a pretty bad sign to be pre-empted for a non-Spike original programming (Gangland) and not have the show rescheduled during the week. You know TNA didn't expect this since they planned to tape 2 weeks of TV this week, then come back in two weeks and tape 2 more leading up to going live on 10/7. Going live is a plus, but it's only going to increase costs and may or may not lead to any gain.

I personally think the absolute stupidity and insanity of that ending is being criminally undersold. Alex Riley attacking Percy Watson and then Watson acting like it never happened is priceless. The WWE Superstars who were helping in the ring leaving for no reason(watch the video, they weren't beat up on the floor, or fighting people to the back) is hilarious. There was also a point where all of the rookies were thrown out of the ring and the only one in was Husky Harris who picked up Kaval for a huge slam while all the WWE guys just stood there looking at him... That's to say nothing of Titus taking MVP's corner mafia kick to the face and no selling it completely.

I was laughing uncontrollably at the whole thing. One of the highlights of NXT's entire run. In the NXT recap on Superstars, they didn't acknowledge the beatdown. I can't imagine how much heat guys like Riley and Titus got for those massive screwups.

This isn't even getting to Michael McGillicutty cutting TWO of the worst promos of the year in consecutive segments.

Also, according to The Observer, Doi and BxB Hulk got WWE tryouts (per recommendation of Evan Bourne) during the Japan tour in August:

On 8/21 in Japan, Dean Malenko and John Laurinaitis ran tryouts for the WWE. Wrestlers who tried out were BxB Hulk and Naruki Doi of Dragon Gate (both recommended by Bourne), Ryoji Sai and Kohei Sato of Zero-One , Kengo Mashimo (of Kaientai Dojo) and about five others. Most of the guys were recommended by either former WWE wrestler Shoichi Funaki. Before the show started with no fans around, Laurinaitis and Malenko watched as the Japanese guys took turns doing singles matches with Kidd and Bourne, among others, with Funaki in the ring as referee.

Vickie fires Aloisia

WWE Pro Vickie Guerrero has fired her NXT season three Rookie Diva, Aloisia.

Various sources are reporting that Guerrero, the temperamental Official Consultant of SmackDown, had an argument with her 6-foot-9 Rookie Diva over Vickieís influence over Aloisia.

The news has left WWE NXT season three shaken before itís even started. But when reached for comment, Guerrero stated she would reveal her new Rookie Diva on the WWE NXT season three premiere this Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET on Syfy.

I've seen the first 3 shows. I recommend all 3 for DG and U.S. indy fans. The first 2 shows are easy buys on the strength of the Chikara 8 man, DK vs. Yossino, CIMA/Yokosuka vs. Bucks, Shingo vs. Doi, Davey vs. Shingo, Danielson vs. Doi, and Scorp is good on the 1st show. The 3rd show isn't quite as strong, but what I like about DGUSA is the bonus disc bringing up the value. It's what has me somewhat tempted to get Enter The Dragon 2 from Philly.

I'm amazed this dude played for 4 teams in the majors in 2004 and went over 100 AB's until his first career homer.

Thanks for setting this up!

Reaction really needs to be a pre-show. Let that show do your "talking" then let your wrestling show have your wrestling.

This would be the ideal format. I would think they'll make the change when Impact goes live on 10/7 since I don't think it's feasible to have ReAction following a live show.
