1st half of this week's episode was dull as dishwater. 2nd half was pretty good. Party boy Bruce. Bullock looks to be in a terminal decline. No Riddler and Grundy this week, but it turns out they weren't missed.

This morning, there was $9,831 left to completely fund the current loan ($47,300 total). One wild day of crowdfunding, ad revenue, and sponsorship later, it's all gone. This is the sixth loan funded since mid-June.

That Rottentomatoes score though..  From 20% critic fresh, to 18%.

50% would be harsh but fair, imo, because 50% is "average".  18% is trainwreck territory.

What's going on?  IMDB and TV Guide are in the 70-80% range, and RT viewers are at 93%.

Anti-Seth bias.

Although they did reveal that it's actually IT: Chapter One, solely so we can have a sequel where they have sex. Sick fucks, Stevie King is the watery shits.

Yeah, I'm sure that will make it into Chapter 2.

Did they imply the "nambla endorses this scene" moment?  Or cut any mention of it completely?

No sign of it.

Yeah I was kinda confused by all the "time-jumping" sequences. You got old, gimpy, happy Rick, current in-the-middle-of-a-war Rick, crying Rick as you pictured... was this supposed to be him dreaming, or was it Gimple's way of showing us different end scenarios after the war is over?

Either way, if it's multiple end sequences, then it's spoiled because now we now Rick's side won and the only thing we don't know is if he survived with his family or everyone else is dead.

OG (Old Gimpy) Rick's scenes were shot in a softer focus, which leads me to believe they weren't real.

Looks like bad times are coming for Rick. Or he's got allergies.

Catching up - that Professor's grandkid, does he become someone?

Don't think so, but I'm not that up on the canon.

"Harry Hole" is the name of the lead character in this film (he's played by Michael Fassbender). No, this is not a comedy (or a porn), and no, they don't come close to explaining why he's named "Harry Hole."

Here's how bad this movie was - I didn't realize it was bad when I watched it. I thought it was decent, if misleadingly marketed as a American-style crime/suspense/thriller. It took coming home and reading a review where the film's director craps all over it, remembering the lead character's inexplicable name, and that Val Kilmer is in this as a analogous character to Harry Hole in a completely different timeline. I also want to rip on Kilmer's physical appearance in this film (which is Mickey Rourke-level strange), but I found out he's been recovering from cancer, so I'll let it be.

Skip this if you weren't already planning to.

So, does this break the cycle of "No one ever stays dead in Gotham?"

I mean, he's technically undead.  :)

I don't think he ever died.
