Daniel Bryan in 2018
« on: January 12, 2018, 03:12:32 PM »
His contract is up later this year. WWE made him retire against his own will and wants to wrestle again.

Itís unclear who heíll wrestle for right now if he gets cleared.

Dave Meltzer has been speculating that heís told WWE he wonít re-sign with them and thatís why theyíre potentially turning him heel to tarnish his character.

That sounds really petty but also really stupid.

LOL being heel is what got him over with the crowd when he held the World Heavy Weight title and treated AJ Lee like shit

the only way daniel bryan could get booed on wwe tv is if he went out there to help roman reigns win every match and then say after he helps roman win the match "Roman reigns is going to main event the next 10 wrestlemanias so you better just get used to it."

If wwe thinks helping Sammy and Kevin owens win the world title (even over aj styles who is loved) is going to get daniel bryan booed then they are mistaken.

Letís say itís even a legit heel turn, that will in no way affect him signing with another company.

I would think if they wanted to bury his character, book him in awful angles, but they might not even know the difference on smackdown.

His current angle with Shane is bizarre, but also interesting at the same time. I think a heel turn with Sammy and Owens would make all of them cheered as tweeners.

The Bryan/Shane story is the most interesting thing in WWE right now.

I think SCB is right that it might be difficult for Bryan to get booed, unless they truly let him do things that a dastardly heel would do (See Jericho, Chris). They'd still try to overscript him.

That said, turning somebody heel so they can be humiliated on their way out is common in the traditional wrestling business.

I am telling you the only way Daniel Bryan would get booed is to endorse Roman Reigns. It is the only thing that got rock booed since he has returned to wwe. As much as the fans love styles they love Daniel Bryan more and him helping zayn and owens cheat to win the title will not get Bryan booed one bit.

Some non scripted moments of Daniel Bryan just talking. Combine that with the promo of Daniel being the advocate of Aj Styles against Heyman and you face a nightmare for Roman Reigns on the mic.

If they really wanted to bury him and hurt his career, they would take him off TV and not mention him again.

He's an idiot. The only three guys we know of that thought launching their 200 pound bodies at 250 pound men's shoulders would be a good idea have all proven that it's not a good idea. If Bryan can't help himself and wants to keep doing it, I can't feel sorry for him for anything that happens to him.
