FU FX : Terriers Cancelled
« on: December 09, 2010, 03:59:03 PM »
GOD DAMMIT. Can Donal Logue have a show that lasts please??? Fuck this sucks. Terriers was by far my favorite new show this season, and one of my favorites currently running. What a great show, this really blows. I guess I can't blame them for canceling when the ratings were as low as they were, but the show was so good FX deserves a lot of the blame for not promoting it as much as they could have.

Great show, but I'm not taking the cancellation that hard. Happy to have a great one season run and the ratings were incredibly* poor.

What was its normal timeslot?  The only time I ever saw it was at 2 O'clock in the morning.

Wednesdays at 10:00, but they replayed it often enough.

Overheard in my office today: "Outsourced is 100 times better than The Office". Granted, The Office is not what it was and is struggling, but...

2.5 Men reruns got more commercials than Terriers did.

I have every episode Tivo'ed. Have not watched one yet.
It sounds like it is worth watching, maybe over the holidays.

Exactly. FX did not promote it nearly enough. All they had to do was play the theme song over highlights and people would tune in. Theme song was great. Luckily it didn't end on a BIG cliff hanger in regards to the season's ongoing storyarc, but there was a cliffhanger in regards to one of the main character's future.

it wasn't THAT much of a cliffhanger.  i think you can figure out pretty easily what would happen if the series continued.  but at least they wrapped up (mostly) the main storyline.  but there were definitely open threads.
