You skip a meal, and eventually get to that point where you feel like absolute garbage.

Unfortunately, sometimes you can't always eat, but got to remember to pocket a snack..

There's no such thing as privacy.

Taking your grandfather to an eye exam and standing in the hall?  About five people pick that moment to bullshit loudly right next to you.

Sitting on the can?  Bunch of kids come in and loudly joke about how it smells like something died, and how they'd never sit on a public toilet.

Sitting in your own home?  Someone knocks on the door, phone rings, kids very loudly play basketball.  It's 2 A.M.

Yeah, people got to share the world, but does everyone have to shout about it..?

Just fixed my computer illiterate father's web browser home page, which goes to his email.  It was an easy fix, I just feel his settings never should have been wiped to begin with.

Blame it on cutting corners so much you hire incompetent help (Anyoe good would never take the job), or management vision coming at the expense of functionality ("We do this, it'll wipe everyone's setting's".  "I don't care.  Just do it, the boards breathing down my neck".)

Or whatever.  Seems to happen pretty often, whatever the reason (I just set up a Primepay, the process is convoluted and the access key didn't work).

I've been on the other side, on a rollout, so I know full well there's a clash one side making demands, and the other side just doing what can realistically be done..  It's just a shame no one seems to give a damn about the end user experience, especially for non computer savvy people.

Screw it, this entire week annoys me.

A .txt message with vital info is locked into a, I thought, impregnable file.  Somehow idiot user manages to move it, on a completely uncluttered drive, to some obscure area.

HOW??!  The damned things still locked good and tight, user has no idea how to access her email and could barely turn the laptop on, how did she manage it?

Also, Cortana is awful.  Wasted about five minutes on it's stupid web search's (Just like the old search box amiright?) before I realized File Explorer is the new Search..

Smoking and shivering with mild  buzz...

Been a bad week.  Also, don't ever get a mini phone, typing is hell.

vendors who respond to an email with a phone call. If I wanted to talk to you, I'd have called you

Also, if you call my desk phone and I send it to voice mail, obviously I can't talk, don't immediately call my fucking cell

Eye floaters.

They first started appearing in my right eye in high school, but in the past several years a large mass appeared that can get annoying.  Had my eyes checked several times and everything checked out ok.

Learned to mostly ignore them, but just learning you can remove them with laser surgery has me thinking about them again.

Probably not worth the risk, but we are talking about one annoying mass of floater that's impossible to ignore all the time..

I'm not really a nitpicker, but I'm watching Back to the Future, get to the scene where Doc shows off the synchronized watch's, rants at Marty to follow the car, then when Einstein gets back, notice Marty has the camera pointed at the ground and is not recording the out of sync watch's.

Good job, Marty.  No wonder Doc is stuck puttering around in his home and has to steal from terrorists.

Kingsman:  Secret Service "Shoot the dog".

Not because of how wrong such an order is (It is), but because I'm not sure what it's supposed to prove.

That they'll kill on demand?  Heck with a dog, slip a toddler or infant on there.  Put someones mother in there.

Yeah, they'll be killing on faith, but it's a dog.  Only thing you're proving is whether someone has any conscience at all..

A high school student died in a car accident my community last night.  Already the rumors are swirling that he was drunk, just an hour after the notification.  This is not true.  It is sad how people want to flock to the bad in a situation.

That's why I always put something on (Music, a podcast)

Very thin, cheap overhead earphones are most comfortable for this.

How school shows always have jocks bullying someone.

For the most part, I remember athletes being pretty stand up people.  The real bullies didn't wear sports jackets, and "jocks" would be the first to have someone's back.

Says a lot about scriptwriters/producers own baggage, imo.

No win positions.

Schedualing mix up, half assed last minute switch at work, and nobody telling me, meaning I had rights to the hours as I was originally on the list (The idiot manager scratched my name out in ink, and filled in her name in pencil.)  The other person was a little old lady who, when told to go home, had a panic attack, broke down in tears, and ran out.

What could I do?  I took the hit, and told her to finish out the day.
